What happened?

The original location for Agile 2010 was the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN. The Nashville area experienced unprecedented flooding over May 1st weekend, and the Gaylord Opryland sustained significant damage. The hotel will not be operational in time for the conference on August 9th, so we have had to move the conference to a new location.

Is the conference still on?

YES! The Organizing Committee began working immediately to understand the impact to the Gaylord Opryland and to find a new location. The new venue is the The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL.

Are the dates the same?

YES! The conference will still begin on Monday, August 9 and run through Friday, August 13th.

Does the program change?

The program has not changed and will be published on the website on Thursday May 13th. The Program Committee has mapped the existing program into the Dolphin facility.

If I registered for the conference, do I need to re-register?

No. The change in location does not affect your registration. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

I have already booked my hotel stay at the Gaylord Opryland, what do I do?

You will need to make new reservations with the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. You do not need to contact the Gaylord Opryland, those reservations will be automatically cancelled.

What about existing airline reservations?

You will need to contact your airline to learn their polices concerning changing your airline ticket if you already purchased a ticket. Do this as soon as possible as some airlines have a deadline by which you need to make changes in order to avoid a change fee.

For your travel to Orlando, discounts have been set up with American Airlines, National, and Alamo.

Why aren’t we staying in Nashville?

For the conference dates, there are no facilities in the Nashville area that can accommodate the conference.
